AUTUMN TERM CATCH UP SESSIONS - Thurs Dec 18 3.40pm, 4.30pm, 5.30pm & 6.30pm Friday Dec 19 3.45pm, 4.45pm & 5.45pm

SPRING TERM runs from January 6 to March 20 (10 weeks)* no sessions half term February 16 - 20

Catch up week for bad weather etc March 24 -27

Trial sessions available, no need to commit before having a go

MINI BLUE BALL

Mini Blue Reception and School Year 1

Mini Blue is for players starting out in tennis with an emphasis on developing Agility, Balance and Co-ordination through fun tennis based games. It is played on small courts with short rackets and soft balls

Tuesday 3.35pm to 4.15pm

Returning Summer Term

MINI RED BALL

Mini Red School Year 2 and 3

Mini Tennis Red and Blue is for players aged 8 and under. It is played on small courts with short rackets and soft balls. It’s just like the real game and gives players opportunities to have long rallies and play different types of shots.

MINI ORANGE AND GREEN BALL

Orange School Year 4/5 and Green School Year 5/6

Mini Tennis Orange/Green is a great way for players to continue their Mini Tennis progress. It is played with shorter rackets and softer balls than full tennis. The court is bigger than the red stage, although not full size for orange, allowing players to develop a rounded game whilst learning a range of techniques and tactics.

YELLOW BALL INTRODUCTORY

Age 11 +

The first stage of playing with full compression tennis balls on a full size tennis court. This is designed for players who have just left the mini tennis system and it is their first step into full tennis or older children who are new to the game.

Tuesday 5.00pm - 6.00pm (Girls)

Thursday 5.30pm to 6.30pm (Mixed)

Yellow Ball Progression

Age 15 +

The second stage of full tennis designed for young teens or more advanced players to learn all the skills, techniques and tactics for a complete game.

Tuesday 6.00pm - 7.00pm (Girls)

Thursday 6.30pm - 7.30pm (Mixed)

Yellow Ball Invitation

Age 11 to 16

Continuing the development of the advanced players onto yellow ball tennis, this invite squad is for player’s aged 11 to 16 and prepares the players for competition with the aim of them competing in the club’s adult teams.

Silver: Friday 4.45pm to 5.45pm

Gold: Friday 5.45pm - 7.15pm

2. We will contact you to confirm a place is available and details on how to pay.

3. Decide whether you wish to join Minchinhampton Tennis Club receiving the benefits of reduced coaching fees and use of the courts at other times. Full details click here

Courses can be joined mid term with fees on a pro rata basis

James Aburrow Tennis reserves the right to cancel any course due to insufficient numbers. Alternative dates or refunds will be given in this instance. We generally continue in bad weather and expect all sessions to be on. A spare week at the end of term has been set aside to catch up in the unlikely event of any cancellation. No refunds will be given due to bad weather or situations beyond the control of Aburrow Tennis (war, famine, contagious diseases etc). If we have to go into lockdown again credit will be given towards next terms tennis.
